Dr. Diana Pate at Animal Eye Care has been an absolute blessing for Matzo Ball. After months of struggling with conjunctivitis, she was finally able to get his eyes under control — and the difference is truly remarkable. Today he’s comfortable, calm, and no longer dealing with red, goopy, irritating eyes. While he’ll likely be on maintenance drops long term, the comfort and quality of life he has now are invaluable.

Dr. Pate’s expertise is evident — she’s deeply knowledgeable, methodical, and transparent in her treatment approach. She made sure I understood every step of the plan and felt confident in managing his care at home.

Greenville SC Is lucky to have this wonderful specialist, Dr. Pate! My senior dog had a very severe eye issue and Dr. Pate’s office and staff could not have been more accommodating and kind to both me and my sweet boy. Dr Pate is very open and honest with realistic options (not just a “straight to surgery” option), which is much appreciated since I have a very senior dog. Dr. Pate really cares about the well-being of her patients and what is best for them overall. Thank you Dr. Pate and staff!

I got sent here by our new primary vet after my dog suddenly lost his vision. They fit us in same day, took time to ease into the appointment with my reactive dog, Mary the vet assistant is the nicest person I’ve ever met (so is the provider and the front staff). They’ve done tests and narrowed down what’s wrong with him got us medicine that has my dog acting like himself again. I’ve told everyone who will listen to me how great this place was.

I was extremely happy with my experience. Dr. Pate was great in every way!!! She told me right away that surgery would not help and would be a waste of money. ( Plus all that discomfort for my dog. ) I would bet that she hires and trains each employee personally. Everyone was really competent and had a great attitude!
